Pride and Prejudice
A classic!
Elizabeth is the second oldest daughter of the Bennett sisters. She’s best friends with her older sister, Jane, and the beloved of her father for her wit and brains. When a new, eligible bachelor with money moves in, along with his sister and his friend, Jane falls head over heels. In the meantime, Elizabeth and the friend, Mr. Darcy, butt heads. It’s enemies to lovers, a tale as old as time, and you’ve had 200+ years to read it.
Mr. Darcy is the perfect man, but of course: he was written by a woman. I love this story, and the 2005 movie is one of my favorites of all time. It’s just so good. I listened to the audiobook, but I need to read one of the physical copies I have laying around.
